Three Ways to Wear Two Staple Pieces
Hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving! Now, before you go spending all your precious cash during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, keep in mind to make sure you shop for staple pieces. Sounds like a no-brainer right? Wrong! There are are so many times, I say I'm going to grab a few basic pieces, and end up coming out with too many "trendy" items that I can't really remix into enough outfit combinations. Solid colors, denim, structured dresses, button-down shirts, and cute footwear is all you ever really need. For this look (see above), it's really just a olive green blouse and jeans. However, the leather cream vest and over-the-knee boots give it a different spin.
Going for something a little more sporty-chic? Throw your favorite casual t-shirt into the mix like I did here. Add a little cross-body bag and your favorite pumps, and boom! You have outfit #2.
For the last look I broke it up with these fun flats from Forever 21, a motorcycle jacket and a pastel tote. Same staple pieces as the first two looks, but without different sprinkles on top. During the fall/winter months, I've been trying to get a little more into deeper berry lipsticks. For all of these looks, I'm wearing Bite Beauty's Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Truffle. It's a great vampy pick that lasts and goes along great with most fall/winter fits.
