The Perfect Cocktail Blend to Sip on All Summer Long!
It is always 5 p.m. somewhere so there is nothing wrong with treating yourself to a cute little concoction every now and again right?! This past weekend, I had the pleasure of celebrating International Tequila Day with Patron and I am so happy I did. When I say, you truly can have everything from a Patron mixed Sangria to yummy ice cream, I'm telling you nothing but the absolute truth. Along with tons of other media outlets, bloggers and a bunch of brand folks, I sipped and got to experience some of the best tequila out there. It goes down pretty smooth, and I didn't go through any annoying "aftermath" either, if you know what I mean. Hands down, probably one of the dopest and toastiest NYC events I've been to this summer.
Try this fun Patron mixed Bloody Maria recipe for your next get together!
Bazaar Bloody Maria
(Pam Wiznitzer, Trademark & Belle Shoals)
Red tomatoes + Pinch Piri Piri (Portugal)
Orange tomatoes + Habanero (South America)
Yellow tomatoes + Saffron (India)
Green tomatoes + Zaatar (Middle East)
2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (UK)
2 oz Water
Blend ingredients together well and strain for seeds.
The night before, make the Bloody Maria ice cubes and freeze each color individually.
In a highball glass:
1) Crush/smash 1-2 Bloody Maria ice cubes of each tomato color. Fill the highball with the ice, layering by color.
2) In a desperate glass combine 2 oz. of Patron Reposado, .75 oz. lemon juice, 3 dashes of bittermans hellfire bitters and 5 dashes horseradish tincture
3) Pour mixture into the highball glass over ice.
4) Add straw and garnish with a skewer that has multi colored tomatoes, fresh squash blossom and exotic international peppers and celery with leaf still attached.
Remember, you can always modify to your liking. Cheers!
