September 2015 Editor's Note: Fall For You
Usually around this time of year, I find myself nervous, worried, anxious, and I'm sure you guessed it by now-- slightly stressed. When September hits, it is always like "back to school time," even if you are all done with school. Was it because I did not feel prepared? Maybe I wasn't ready to let go of summer? Or, perhaps I noticed how quickly we were approaching the end of the year. Neither here nor there, I think the missing link was being self-assured that I was more than equipped to take on anything coming my way. But this year my friends, I think I'm finally stepping into a new season where I'm totally falling for me right now. Not to be confused with a characteristic of conceit or to even toot my own horn, but once you've grasped on to the thought that confidence is one of the golden keys, you begin to unlock all kinds of doors you didn't even know existed. Closed mouths do not get fed, and when I started to step out of my comfort zone a bit, I noticed the reaction was initially highly unexpected, but indeed, well-deserved. You are not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but that should not halt you from showing all the different flavors you come in elsewhere. This month, I can not wait to share all of my new experiences with you. For starters, there is labor day which might be your last chance to wear white, or maybe not. Then we have fashion week, tons of new fall beauty picks, and a few little jet setting bucket lists to check off. Stay tuned!
